to blog ….

Over the years, I have written much, in random scribbling, in a story, in a poem, in love-hate and-crib emails, in e-cards, in advisory emails to acquaintances and friends alike, in the comment to a blog, even on orkut, and yet I never had a blog of my own.

And its strange that I never had a blog of my own; because 1. I love to write, 2. I love to have other people read what I write, 3. I am open to criticism, 4. I have been net-savvy since a very very long time and 5. I admire people who blog!!! Why I didn’t jump onto the bandwagon, is definitely a matter to decipher, but I can easily blame it on Complacence. Complacence is one thing that I have resolved to shed this year. Starting a blog is a part of that game plan.

So here, I am, with my own blog on Wordpress. Why, Wordpress, you may ask! Because, this is the only blog that is not blocked from access in office. Yes, I promised to shed Complacence, but not Convenience :-).

When I decided to blog, I wondered what I would blog about! I realized it would not be very difficult, with more than three decades of myriad experiences on various platforms of daughter, sister, struggler, professional, dreamer, writer, girlfriend, wife and more roles that you can imagine, I knew I would have ample thoughts to share … maybe not enough time…. (and yes, the Complacence bit always threatens to strike back.)

So, here I start on a cold January morning in 2008, with logical musings from an absurd mind, or may be vice-versa (on days when PMS strikes, or the spouse quarrels, or the boss acts bossy). More, from me in the days that follow …..
