Nice stories, I liked “Horoscope”, “Coincidence” & “Flight”. “Lonely Lunches” yes but still leaves something to be desired, not sure but couldn’t put a finger on it at the moment, kinda feels like a bit more was needed in this.

This nano-fiction thing seems to be kinda tough, I think I’ll give it a go in Hindi!

I also feel that when words are limited it is a challenge to convey the right emotion of the story to the reader but you have sucessfully done it, hats off to you.

I think you are talking about the online initiative – http://www.ourownbook.com/home.asp. Thats still alive and kicking but is different from nanofiction. Nanofiction is a stand-alone story in 55 words. The other concept is related to individual items contributed over a period of time to create a novel.

Very well written specially when words are limited. I remember one of the IIM pass-out started with the same concept where he asked readers to read a paragraph and write the next to create a story. I am not sure if its the same or different concept and whether he was abe to get his book printed but the effort was worthy.
